What she said!!
I'm just sitting here blinking stupidly at my screen and all I can think is "WOW!"
I loved every word of that update, and it made me feel so many things that it'd take at least 403 pages to tell them all. ;)
It seems inadequate but I just want to say : thank you, Dreams. Reading you today was again pure bliss.
Keeg'
ps : it was soooooo much better than a kiss!! You totally rock.

Wow. So close!

I'm thoroughly impressed with how restrained Leigh is being. Do we get to see Pizza night?

Loved the scene with Mark.

I practically drooled over this update, I love the little touches, the brushing of cheeks, holding hands to lead each other places or jus because and the cuddling (and yes Kris you WERE cuddling)and it's great how we great to witness Kris' ever-increasing lusty thoughts, it's just too cute.

One thing that's thrown me, why was mark giggling when when he found out Julianne was Julia? I've obviously missed something which is unthinkable since I have devoured each word of this story like a hungry...umm, hippo.

Also, why oh why, dear Mark, did you bother to cover up your verbal slip about Kris and girls and sexuality, though I don't think it matters too much at this point.

I just went back to check the conversation between Kris and William and Mark the night she told them about her confusing feelings ...

And I realized that Kris said 'Julianne' not Julia .. and she even outed Julianne to them.

HAHAHAHAHA..

I need to rewrite that conversation now. Hehe... this should be even better.

Erm, yes ... so that's what I get for posting without proofreading or checking back on what I've written before.

But this should be fun to write so I don't mind ...

God I'm in a silly mood.

I need sleep.

Thank you, my hungry literary hippo .. keep devouring! ;)

Much love,
Dreams

Wow, I made a genuinely helpful point! La la la first time for everything :D

Can't wait to see the revisionisted?? conversation.

Also in regards to one of your previous comments, as self-appointed president of the Lesbian Cliche Club, i'd like to inform you that all situations lesbian-like that have previously been done to death were studiously avoided in this update that is not to say that it is obvious to the reader that situations were askewed to the point of 'wacky' in order to avoid aforementioned Cliches but more to say this update was 'Right on!' in it's balance between that which is commonplace vs. that other which is peculiar. UHmmm, roger over and out? Roger back in again - and your paragraphs were totally short enough ;)Out.

I checked the dictionary, the word that escaped me, if you couldn't crack my code... is REVISED now if I had done as such during my Eng. Lang. exams this word might not have escaped my mental grasp.

You can start your very own dictionary ... :)

It's okay, I created the word 'werehouse' and several others. Creative spelling. It's a gift. Embrace it ;)

Hehe.. well the "revisionisted" conversation is gonna be exactly the same except for like 2 sentences. I thought it would be more complicated .. but I'll deal with the complications in the next update.

Wow, it is such an honor to meet the President of the Lesbian Cliche Club! And I avoided cliches??GREAT! I have done my duty! Whew! :D

Would you like a jelly bean?

And something tells me you read my other journal :)

Well Ingrid,
You definitely desrve all the praise and accolades today. By all that good and holy, that was a fabulous update. Jeez, but my wee heart almost stopped when I saw the immortal words ... 'It was too long to post here so:' What a way to start the week.

This story is getting better all the time and that is an amazing feat as every single word, sentence and paragraph stands out in its own as an individual work of art.

Btw, the hit counter does seem to be working as I went in a few times to check and damn if it didn't go up with me!! LOL.

On another note, I followed the link to Camilla LJ and when I back spaced I got the post for Feb 14th again. Just thought I'd let you know.

Best wishes,
ELma

BTW, don't think the counter's broken... Since I keep telling people about this story, maybe gained you some readers. *shrugs*

A Tribute to Dreams

Dreams Dreams
She’s such a fruit
She may not be dumb
But she ain’t astute

She’s not that cute
But she keeps it real
And her taste in music
Is almost ideal

(It's like that beans rhyme...)

p.s.-lines four and five were put there just because they fit the pattern and they rhyme, although line five could be the truth

If Dreams ain't cute
it ain't her looks,
she seems a beaut
just from her book!

(I think that Dreams
is what she seems:
smart and tender
sexy and strong,
a story-teller's
paragon).

I doubt I can add anything to what everyone else has already said... The update, once again, was purely brilliant ;) I was mightily impressed with the avoidance of lesbian cliches - oh, how I don't love them. It's a rare feat to be completely original, and you are. :)
